Policies

At PLUM, our purpose is to insure your experience exceeds your expectations. Below are our policies that will help our team be able to provide all of our guests with the best service possible, while maintaining a high level of professionalism for our company.


ARRIVAL

We ask you to please arrive 10 minutes prior to your reservation. This will allow our concierge to get you checked in and give you the opportunity to relax, enjoy a beverage and browse potential new styles in the latest trend magazines. In the case that you are running behind for your reservation, we ask you to please contact PLUM as soon as you are aware of your late status. This will allow your stylist to evaluate your reservation and plan accordingly. If you arrive 15 minutes or later for your scheduled reservation, you may be asked to reschedule or modify said reservation.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, we ask you do so 24 hours in advance. If it is less than 24 hours, you will be subject to a charge of 50% of your scheduled reservation total. All "no shows" will be charged 100% of scheduled reservation total. This charge will be applied to the credit card used to reserve the reservation.

PAYMENTS

PLUM accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, personal checks and cash for purchase of services and our retail.

GRATUITY

Gratuities are not included in the cost of your reservation, but may be added to your credit card, by personal check or cash.

CHILDREN

We happily accept young clients, however PLUM asks that any children not receiving a service remain supervised in the reception area.

CELL PHONES

We ask that you silence your cellphones while receiving services in both the styling and coloring area to respect the experience of guests around you.

RETURNS / SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

Here at PLUM we guarantee both our products and our services. In the case you are dissatisfied with retail you have purchased, you have 30 days from the purchase date to exchange for a more fitting product. This does not include brushes, combs, hair ties, etc. No returns will be accepted beyond that time window. In the case we have not met your expectations with your hair we would like to invite you back within 10 days of your service for a complimentary adjustment.

COLOR FORMULAS

Each stylist here at PLUM bases your color formulation off of your current hair, your end goal and professional expertise. As such, color formulas are property of PLUM and can be made available to you for $150.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

PLUM offers gift card for purchase whether given as a gift or used as a "PLUM debit" card. You can add any amount to your card and it can be applied to both services and retail. If you lose your card, we can replace it for you at your next reservation or can look up your balance in your personal account. You can still apply that credit to your purchase whether you have your PLUM card or not.

POINT SYSTEM

Clients are rewarded points for every dollar spent, pre-booking future appointments and inviting friends to join our PLUM family. These points can be used towards services or products and they do not expire. Points can be transferred to a separate client account per the request of the client.
